Princess Party Invitations – Since princess themed birthday parties are so popular these days, many stores have capitalized on it. A huge array of princess invitations can be found in almost any stationary store, and if you decide to go with a Disney princess theme party your options are even greater. Still, there's something to be said for creating your own invitations. If you decide to go that route, rather than being an extra pre-party chore you can make it something fun and exciting to do with your little girl. The internet is an unlimited source for great princess images. With some construction paper, glue, glitter, and color-printed cutouts, you and your little one can create your own personalized birthday invitations. A simple roll of princess stickers from a stationary store or online auction can be used to decorate and seal the envelopes. If you check your local post office, you may even be able to find matching stamps.
We are not done with Disney yet, in 2nd place we have the adorable Minnie Mouse. You can never get enough of Minnie Mouse, I still love Minnie as an adult and all my three children love her too. She is just too cute to put away and her popularity all over the world is ever increasing. You can get lots of really nice decorations and accessories for the Minnie theme, nice balloons, banners, backdrops and dangling decorations. I will give the headwear a special mention again, the Minnie Mouse headbands are absolutely gorgeous and are a really nice take home prize for the guests. The cute treat purses are also really nice and you can get some fancy stickers, pencils and more. The Minnie Mouse theme is absolutely a safe bet and will put smiles on all the children's faces.
Character plates and napkins cost about twice as much as plain colored ones. Mix your colors for a festive effect. Make fans out of your brightly colored napkins or roll each napkin and tie with multi colored curly ribbon. Put a big, bright tissue paper flower at each girls' place. Print out each guests name in a fancy font and bright colors, add some cute clip art or a pretty border, cut them to size and glue to each guests paper cup. Use your own silverware instead of buying throw away plastic.
Create your own invitations and thank you notes on your computer. Use one of the many free clip art sources you can find on the web, or your Microsoft Word on-line clip art. Use a kid-friendly font for your text and some bright text colors for visual appeal. Do the same on your invitation envelope to make it different and special. It doesn't need to be professional job; it needs to get the kids excited about your child's upcoming birthday party.
